I just wanted to let everyone know if you are thinking of having your wedding here and are worried...don't be. I found this chapel online and I live in Ohio. Without ever seeing the place in person I decided to get married here. It turned out to be way more than I could of ever hoped for. It was the best day of my life so far and the ceremony and chapel was beautiful. I totally recommend this to you if you are looking for a great place to get married in TN.

Perfect Day! Married April 10th, 2010

It started with a phone call and Margaret immediatly put us at ease. That one phone call led to April 10, 2010. We had perfect weather -- lots of sunshine and tulips. The Chapel at the Park team made us feel like we were the only wedding ever held there. Paster Bennett made us feel so at ease and made our ceremony so special. I don't think there was a dry eye! Margaret and team took away the stress of the arrangements so that we could totally enjoy our day and cater to our guests. Thank you for the wonderful memories! Alan and Kelly

The Overall Experience was Outstanding: Married 03-04-10

We had our wedding at your Chapel at the Park on March 4th, 2010. We just want to let you know that the overall experience was outstanding and we are so pleased with everything!

We came to Gatlinburg in January to check out wedding chapels and saw the sign for this chapel. We were just "blown away" how beautiful it was and the setting it was in. Once we set our date of March 4, your people, especially Arlene, were so knowledgeable and helpful with our planning. It was so simple picking out the accessores, such as the flowers and cake. It is nice having your showroom so convenient with all the choices displayed.

We were extremely pleased with Rev. Bennett. Although we only met 10 minutes before the wedding, his professionalism in the ceremony made it feel very personal.

The photographer also did a superb job. The outdoor pictures she took with the snow round the gazeob and waterfall were unique (and we had been worried about it snowing on March 4!). We are enjoying the DVD of the wedding, too. It was great showing the ceremony from different angles.

The reception room was also beautiful - we're glas we went with the bows on the chairs! All the food selections were displayed so wll and it was quite a feast! Plus, having different areas there to take pictues was very convenient!

So, we just wanted to take the time to let you all know how much we appreciate everything you did to make our day so special. We will hight recommend you.

The "TULIP" Bride - 1 Year Later.....

Tulips symbolize imagination, dreaminess, perfect lover and a declaration of love. The orange tulip symbolizes warmth, happiness and fascination. It is said that the tulip's velvety black center represents a lover's heart, darkened by the heat of passion. In April, Pigeon Forge and all of Gatlinburg are covered with spreads of gorgeous tulips lining
the roads to lover's lane, the Chapel at the Park.
Much like the tulip, we were ready for the imagination of the rest of our lives together and declare our love in the dreaminess of God's beauty at the Chapel at the Park. In exactly one month we will celebrate our first anniversary. A year that has been filled with laughter, tears, struggles, joys and most of all a deepened love and respect for one another. Looking back on our wedding day it was our ideal of perfect. All of our family and friends were there to celebrate with
us, the weather was calm after a storm, the tulips were lining the way to our future and the staff of the chapel were there to assist us with our every need in the most helpful manner. They made living five hours away seem like only a few minutes apart. Anything I could have ever imagined for our wedding they strived to provide it and not just provide but go above and beyond expectations.
After spending most of our time discussing our plans through email we made the five hour drive nine months before our wedding to make the final plans. Margaret assisted us and made it
so much fun. I told them I wasn't the typical bride that wanted roses, baby's breath and "here comes the bride" march. I enjoy different, special, classy and that's exactly what she helped us
achieve. We outlined every tiny detail down to the ribbon on the cake and the color of my bouquet. We met Rev. Jacob for the first time after emailing for months and felt like we had known him for years. He sent me constant emails leading up to the wedding of the temperatures and the progress of the tulips, telling me he was giving them daily pep talks to stay
beautiful until my arrival. They nicknamed me "the tulip bride".

The day before our arrival they were calling for
a frost and the staff actually went to cover the tulips to protect them just to ensure they were there for our wedding!! On the day of our wedding I wasn't worried about any details of whether or not things would be how I imagined. And for me it is very hard for me to just turn the reins over to someone else and say "here plan something that means something so special to me" and I can't have my hands in helping. But the chapel had everything just like we planned,
exactly like I wanted and precisely how I
would have done it myself. Only an hour or so before our wedding Rev Jacob had a family emergency and had to leave and Rev Bennett had to officiate our wedding. After all the time Rev Jacob had helped us he was upset he couldn't be there to witness it. But Rev Bennett was
the sweetest and made us just as comfortable as we were meeting Rev Jacob for the first time. The entire staff was welcoming us and our guests with bright smiles and enthusiasm. The photographer even helped me fix my makeup after a few tears streamed down my cheeks after
saying our vows. And she made extra special attempts, laying down on the ground to get every possible tulip in our pictures just for me. At the end of the day we were married and relaxed thanks to the wonderful people at the chapel. We had no worries, no stress, a beautiful cake that tasted like the ones my grandmother used to make, a bouquet of my favorite flowers, amazing pictures and a dvd with memories to last a lifetime and we didn't spend a fortune. Like the orange tulips used in my bouquet we have had a wonderful first year of marriage consumed with warmth and happiness and fascination & look forward to many more years together. Thank you

A Beautiful Wedding...20 Years in the Making

We met and dated in high school (in 1987) and were planning to be married and live happily ever after, but life had other plans for us. After 20 years apart, we re-united and were finally married - at noon on New Year's Eve Day - in your beautiful chapel. We could not have been more pleased with any aspect of your services.
Everything we were told you would do, you did. And although we chose to elope and marry in private, you treated us as though we had a full wedding party and no detail was overlooked.
The photographer was wonderful and our pictures and album are beautiful and we are so glad we got the DVD of our beautiful ceremony. The Minister was very professional and personable and made us feel like he had known us for years. Not one time did any one make us feel rushed or like we were taking too much of their time.
Given the long time we were apart, the joy of finding one another again and the overwhelming emotions of our day, we were both very nervous about all the things that could go wrong. From start to finish we were kept completely informed of everything, all questions were fully answered and details explained. And in the end the entire experience was flawless.

A Fairy Tale Wedding. December 5th, 2009

Chapel at the park was beautiful especially since it snowed on our wedding day but even if it hadn't I loved it there. They took care of everything and were so pleasant to work with. They took all the stress off the big day. Make sure if there is anything special you want you go over it with them. Other than that it was a Fairytale wedding. The photographer is great! The food was delicious and my husband and I didn't want to leave. The honeymoon accomodations were spectacular and we will be visiting there for the many years to come. The ladies at the Chapel that help you plan your wedding and help you get ready were so sweet. I can't believe how lucky we were to get such a wonderful chapel without seeing it first. Other than the pastor's name being my husband's ex-wifes name it was fantastic. I give my upmost appreciation to everyone who made such special days as this perfect. The setting was lovely and I will never forget my Fairytale wedding. It's hard to be back at work after such an unforgettable time. Thanks to the chapel staff for making my dream wedding come true. And if you are reading my post considering whether to book your wedding here - I highly recommend it. (p.s. if you can do a cake tasting I would suggest it other than that it was perfect - just wish i would have gone with chocolate) :) Stephanie and Josh

There are not enough words to say. We are so thankful to have had such an unforgettable day and to have had such amazing people to spend it with. Everybody was so friendly and knowledgeable. We can't even begin to explain how beautiful our outdoor wedding was, 74 and Sunny on a November weekend! We were so happy! The photos turned out beautiful! The reception was perfect! Oh, and that wedding cake was the best cake we have ever put in our mouths! The food was great, the DJ was awesome, the reception staff was super friendly! I just wanted to write to say thank you so much for helping us have such a beautiful wedding!! My coordinator, Bobbie, did an awesome job. I was so nervous the day of the wedding. I was having an outdoor ceremony, which would have been awesome, however, the weather did not want to cooperate. I was so stressed about how everything would turn out. Once I got to the chapel, everyone was so nice and helpful. I really appreciate someone being there with an umbrella to make sure I didn’t drown in the rain, and ruin my hair and makeup!!lol

Once I got to the bridal suite, everything was there and ready. Pictures were a breeze, and the ceremony was awesome!!! My guests kept telling me how beautiful everything was. And the pictures….totally awesome. We are having trouble deciding on which ones to pick out as they are all so perfect!!! The staff was professional, courteous and made sure everything was perfect!!! I felt like I had missed the wedding, and didn’t pick the video option. However, since weather didn’t cooperate, luckily, you all were nice enough to throw in the video for me since I had to be moved indoors which almost made me cry when I found out, as I felt like I was to nervous to remember anything that had just happened…lol

We cannot thank you enough for all that you did. I have to tell you, I was very worried. I basically read a couple of reviews, and decided to go with you based off of the website. But I thank the good Lord every day that I did. I know I keep saying it, but it was perfect..and thank you sooooo much!!!!!!! The staff is totally awesome, and they all deserve a huge hug and pat on the back!! Awesome customer service.

I especially loved the picture with the just married sign, the only certificate that matters in Tennessee!!! The photographer was very nice and friendly. He almost felt like family. The minister was just as awesome.

A Rainbow Over the Mountains - Married August 15th, 2009

Dear Chapel at the Park, I just have to tell you how blown-away we were by how wonderful you all are! On the day of our wedding, my mother, maid-of-honor, and I were all running a little late from our hair appointment. When we got back to the cabin the limo was already there waiting for us! The limo driver gave us a big smile and was very kind, patient, and courteous! He didn't add to the stress that we were all already feeling. The ladies changed quickly and off we went. We were greeted at the chapel by a wonderful crew of helpful hosts (and hostesses) who ushered us where we needed to go and were also very kind, patient and courteous! The first thing I saw in the bridal suite were the flowers I ordered. They were more beautiful than I could have imagined! The photographer was wonderful. In fact so many of the pictures were so great we had a difficult time narrowing it down to just 48 for the album! The Minister was kind and the service was excellent! When the minister asked "Who gives this woman," the chapel erupted when my father proclaimed "My mother and I do" instead of "Her mother and I do"! It was the perfect mistake. Everyone was all smiles instead of tears from that moment forward. Also, your reception center was lovely! Once again, it was even better than I could have imagined it could be! The cake, the food, the staff, the decorations... all exceptional! After the festivities, when we arrived back at our cabin, there was a rainbow over the mountains!! We were married at Chapel at The Park on June 19,2009. I researched chapels online in Tennessee and came across Chapel at the park. I loved the setting and surroundings of the place. It looked exactly like what I was looking for. I booked it for our wedding day and I was not disappointed. The place is lovely. Everything I hoped it would be. Our minister and photograher were great. Even the lovely lady who helped me zip my dress. My roses were beautiful as well. They let us bring our own music and that was great. We had our own personal touch. It was only our 2 sons and us but they made us feel special. I can't forget our photographer either, he was excellent. Our pictures and video are great. We received them in less than a month. Just yesterday as a matter of fact. Chapel of The Park is a 5 star chapel in my book definitely. One last note, we loved how the minister did the vows slightly different. They weren't the traditional vows we were used to hearing. Thank you for making our day so very special. My wedding was three weeks ago and we are still talking about how nice everything was. So I thought I would share it with you here. Ron and I picked the Cinderella three day wedding event. (I was going from daddy's princess to Ron's Princess). My guests and I arrived Friday evening for a get together social. It was a deli night theme with red checker-table cloths and the works. They even had a make your own sundae bar so we could all create our own dessert creations. After the deli we met with the Minster (Rev Lee) and he was so nice.He explained to everyone how the cermony would work and that there would be staff everywhere (and there was) to help us at the chapel.Saturday morning the chapel delivered coffee and rolls and fruit to our rooms for the bridesmaids and the groomsmen. My brides maids and I went to the spa treatment they set up for us. I had my hair, make up and nails and they all had their hair done. While we were there the guys went to pick up their tuxes. The limo picked up me and my girls and mom and off to the chapel we went for the final get ready and meet with the photographer. And we were all singing get me to the church on time. Then Ron and his guys arrived by limo. The guests all met at the reception site and were brought to the chapel by a Gatlinburg Trolly. I think the guests liked the ride as much as they did the wedding. The wedding was outdoors and flawless. At the reception we had a DJ and danced for what seemed like hours. The food was good and the service was far better than we had anticipated. The next morning they even had a continental breakafast set up for the guests before they left town so they could have a farewell time together. Ron and I did not go to that. That night we dinner on the town and tandum massages and then the next day we had Dollywood tickets on our door.Between the wedding pictures, the reception pictures and the mounatin shoot (with lunch it was romantic) we went on we had over 400 portraits to choose from on line. I wish I could talk to everyone who is thinking about Gatlinburg I would tell you Chapel at the Park was AWESOME. Happy in Ohio, its Tasha and Ron

I was in the last semester of college and did not have time to plan my wedding. I was glad to find Chapel at the Park. With a little help for their on line abilty and one of their very personable Wedding Cordinators we planned the entire thing from my college room. Two days after graduation we arrived with 40 guests to Gatlinburg to find we had selected by far the nicest chapel in town. Secluded on an estate it is even surrounded by the National Park.Everything and every detail was correct and my mom and dad could not have been happier. The guests raved and it was obvious that the staff new how to make guests feel like it was the only wedding of the day. From my flowers to the grilled salmon at our reception the attention to detail was perfect.We are busy now selecting what portraits we want for our album and I am getting ready to teach school this fall. If you are a type "A" person and a little too busy to plan an at home church wedding but still want it to be grand I would highly recommend Chapel at the Park. Good luck from Sally and Jake

Steve and I would like to thank you all from the botton of our hearts. Your professionalism and your on-top-of-it attitude made our wedding day something we will cherish for a "lifetime". I can't begin to tell you how your attention to detail made this day smooth, comforting and seamless, especially after knowing that every detail was done by either email or over the telephone since we live in Atlanta, Georgia.

We have already received compliments on the photos. Your photographer made me look like a "Queen" and my husband would tell you that it is the first time he has me smiling in any photo so for that, thank you for capturing just how great I felt that day.

Please send a special thank you to Rev. Tim. He made Steve and I very comfortable, welcomed and a part of his flock if even for that moment. We talked about the prayer he prayed for us and find that it was the best part of the ceremony.

We loved everything about The Chapel at the park. The two things i was nervous about was the minister and the pictures. The minister was great, he made us feel so at ease and at home. And i couldn't have asked for any better pictures. Gatlinburg in October was beautiful the leaves were beginning to change and it was so nice outside. Our ceremony was beautiful and intimate with just close friends and family. We would definitely recommend Chapel at the park to anyone wanting a stress free wedding in Gatlinburg.

My husband and I just celebrated our one year anniversary after being married at the outdoor chapel at Chapel at the Park. We had such a wonderful wedding, and we still get compliments on it today! Our wedding coordinator was wonderful and was very flexible in making sure that we had what we wanted for our day. Before the wedding we spent time going over everything and making all the decisions about what we wanted to experience. On the day of the wedding, pretty much all we had to do was show up! It was so wonderful to know that we were in good hands and that we nor our family members had to worry about setting up or coordinating a thing, especially since we had come from states away. Hello! My husband and I just wanted to thank everyone for their hard work for our wedding. I, for one, am so glad I chose your chapel. Everything was explained well and couldn't have gone any better. My Dad was almost late, but I couldn't tell. The personnel working at the chapel took care of everything including my worrying. It was such an emotional moment for me and being at ease as long as I could was just what I needed. We love the pictures and the ease with which we were able to choose what we wanted. My husband and I were married there in July 2008. I just wanted to tank you for a wonderful job that the staff of the Chapel did for us. The wedding was beautiful and I will never forget that special day at Chapel at the Park. Everyone was really nice and made us feel right at home. Once again, thank you and you did a wonderful job.
